Virudha Mahila Seva Trust
This public charitable Trust was started on 25th July, 2008. Registration No. 1242/2008 with Sri. T.S.Raghavendran, M.A., B.L., Advocate, as the founder President of the trust with three more trustees. The main and only object of the trust is to help poor Madhwa widows who have no pension and have no issues and none to support, due to various factors. Sri. TSR felt that this section of Madhwa society was not much taken care of and hence the trust was started to provide small amounts every month to such widows, so that at least they can have a cup of buttermilk every day.
From 25-7-2008 to 30-09-2011, so far, Rs. 2,07,260 has been paid to 39 deserving poor Madhwa widows living at Coimbatore, Kinathukadavu, Pollachi, Madurai, Manamadurai, Rameswaram, Palladam, Srirangam, Trichy, Chennai,Gobi, Tiruppur, Tirupathi, Nanguneri, Salem, Pudukottai – (16 Locations).
